Dr. Okey Ibeabuchi qualified as a medical doctor in 1983 from the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu. Worked in both government and private hospitals until 1993 when he established the Palmars Hospital Ltd. He later left for postgraduate training in Family-Medicine in West African and National colleges. Presently, he is a Fellow of the West African College of Medicine and Consultant in Family Medicine. He also holds an MSC in Health Care Management. Having served as Board Chairman of Health Institutions and also held sundry positions in government and private health establishment, his knowledge, integrity, and skill in hospital management can be attested to by the many honours and awards he has been bestowed with.
